Choice Book report numero 2

  My main character's name is Barbara but, everyone calls him barbie.He is normal height with dirt blond hair he has blue eyes he is somewhere in his thirty's.He is an veteran from Iraq.His job was to hunt down terrorist's and then get information out of them.In all he's a good person but, not all good.When in Iraq they caught two terrorists that had blown up a military base.Him and a group of soldiers decide to teach them a lesson by beating and tormenting them.He regrets being a part of that so in all I still think he's a good person.He's isn't stupid either in the entire book he is trying to out think Big Jim (in all the book's I've read I think this guy is the biggest meanie ever) but, he end's up losing everytime because Big Jim has no limit's from killing priest's to his wife and old lady's(more like 40year old but that's still old though).
  Throughout this book the point of view always changed whether from within a chapter to a chapter being just one persons point of view.I think it was good to decide it to being from all the different perspective's or else you might have not known what was happening in other parts of town.If it had been different you would not have known what caused this or that(don't want to give it away do i).Well what was bad is that when a person died you were usually looking it through there eyes.I think this book was the bomb even though it was gruesome sometimes and a little creepy with the telepathic aliens.Apart from that i really enjoyed this book.

Choice book report numero 1

  My main character's name is John Milton (refered to as Spud) is of normal build,blond hair,blue eyes.He is smart but is bullied constantly(everyone in this book is bullied or is a bully)he's not very confident when it comes to standing up to bullies.His goal in life is to become a famous and rich actor.He's constantly thinking of ways to heighten his career.Half the things he does with the crazy eight are of against his will(another example of how he's constantly bullied).He is constantly embarrassed in public by his family.His mother might act like she's above his fathers antics but she gets drunk almost as much as his dad does same goes for his grandma. That pretty much all there is to describe about my character.
  I really liked this book I thought it was funny through the roof.It was pretty inappropriate in some places but that doesn't do anything to the funny factor.An example of a HILARIOUS part is when spud was on the road to his school when suddenly there tire popped.When his dad popped the back to get the spare he found his friend had borrowed the spare and left a case of beer for letting him borrow it, that's not all the friend had borrowed it about 5 years ago.I think people that are all about action and fast moving effects would not like this book.I really liked this book I hope you'll like it too.

Memoir 2

  For my vacation my family decided to  go to Mt.rushmore we stopped in rapid city and rented a hotel room.Then it's about a 20 minute drive to up to Mt.rushmore. Halfway up you pass a small little town entirely made of wood. Then you go up another ten miles.You can see the heads before you even get to the  monument entrance. When we got up their it was filled with people we lasted at least 15 minutes looking for a parking space.When you leave your car you climb some stairs to a two story high gift shop. When you pass the shop you go through like an open pass with all fifty flags of every state.Under each flag theres some information of when that state was proclaimed a stated.After that you walk into an arch made out of that smooth black rock.In the arch the names of all those who worked on and died trying to make the monument. Then theres the monument itself i am not sure how big it is but, it was huge to take a picture you had to step back a few spaces to be able to fit it in.It was one of the awesomnest trips i have ever taken.    

speech program

  There's a program for fifth and sixth grade were you have to write a speech (It's mandatory no getting out of it).I remeber in fifth grade i had to write about someone i admired and looked up to i wrote about my uncle and all about his life.When I had written my speech and read it i wasn't chosen to go to north .The only reason I was able to go to north to read it was because someone dropped out.That night i only won bronze.
  I had to do it in sixth (MANDATORY). This time i had to pretend to be something in nature and how it's affected by pollution.I pretended to be a pebble on the road and how polluting cars affected me.This time i got in without anyone dropping out. That night i did my  best.When the judjes start to read out awards they make stand up on the stage.I was standing right behind the guy that was reading out the awards. I found out ahead of time that i had won gold.My mom was happy i had won.That is my memory of my two (MANDATORY) years in the speech program.
